Cindy McDaniel
Board Member
Cindy McDaniel was born in the Catskill Mountains in New York State and moved to Cary, North Carolina in fifth grade. She attended East Carolina University where she received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked as a speech-language pathologist at the NC School for the Deaf in Morganton, Highland Farms and Asheville Healthcare, and Buncombe County Schools. Cindy currently works at Charles C. Bell Elementary in East Asheville.
Cindy was involved with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life when it was in the Swannanoa Valley as a co-chair, a committee member, a team captain, and participant. Cindy is married to Ed McDaniel and they have four children.
