Trail Races virtual and IN-PERSON 5k! Join from all over the world.
In the past, the races took place in chilly March on the Montreat College trails in Black Mountain. This year the course will still be in the original location, but this year it’s going to be warmer, so leave your gloves and wool hats at home!
On May 18th, 2024, runners will take off at the Montreat College Athletic Fields and will run 5K (3.1 miles) on nothing but dirt and grass – maybe a little mud.
If you’ve never run on a trails, this is a great way to ease your way into it. If you like running trails, but have never been able to run the shorter faster distances because of roots and rocks, we have something special for you. If you’ve run this race before, WELCOME BACK!!
