Dean is an ultra-runner, mountaineer and adventure seeker. His love of expeditions led him to completing his Paramedic degree and earning multiple designations through the Wilderness Medical Institute.
He has honed his skills both on the ambulance and in austere environments. He has used these skills along with his ability to organize, plan and lead in a variety of environments to serve as medic/pacer for athletes in Death Valley, runs across the US, Nepal, Africa and numerous mountaineering expeditions. Additionally, Dean is a Level II state certified EMS instructor and Level 9 ASHI instructor for Wilderness First Aid/Responder courses.
Always seeking to improve his skills, Dean is currently completing a Paramedic to RN bridge Program.
